Message :These things are horribly inaccurate and even more unresponsive. If you suspect a vacuum leak, get an aftermarket boost gauge. ~ $50 for an Autometer gauge, 1 hour of labor, and you'll finally know what you REALLY have as far as vacuum/boost.
